Old Major Denver meat restaurant is Donald Paschall’s first Denver project, which opened its doors in December 2012. Guests come here for the delicious home-cooked food, specialty steer on a spit, various meat dishes and unique atmosphere.
The restaurant’s interior with large stained-glass windows, brick walls, antique chandeliers and wooden decor elements. There is a large working fireplace in the main room, and besides there is a legendary brazier in the restaurant where every Friday according to tradition a bullock on birch coals is cooked. This is an absolute hit in the menu since the foundation of the restaurant. Old Major Denver has several lounges that are comfortable for business meetings, family events and banquets of any format.
Alejandr Owen has been in charge of the restaurant’s kitchen since 2012. The chef concentrates on the main thing – taste – and makes an accent on a variety of meat dishes cooked on open fire and grill as well as in the hospice. He carefully works out marinades for the meat, chooses the right height for slicing steaks and personally monitors the quality of the product. On the menu you can find a wide range of alternative steaks, the specialty plateau “Butcher’s table” of 9 kinds of meat accompanied by homemade sauces, juicy kebabs, roasted leg of lamb. Old Major Denver Meat Restaurant is a unique timeless place with a rich history, modern approach to gastronomy and soulful service.
