Alejandr Owen
Alejandr Owen graduated with honors from the professional culinary school. After school, he got a job at Fantasy Restaurant in Los Angeles, where he took his first steps in his profession. Then he was invited to work at the Palace Hotel. There Alejandr gained great experience working with European and American cuisine and was introduced to new cooking techniques: in the kitchen of the Palace there were table blenders, combi steamers and vacuum machines, which were very rare.
An important moment in Alejandr Owen’s career was the offer to join a newly opened cafe with an experienced chef as sous chef. There Alejandr worked for 4 years and was recommended for the position of chef at the Old Major Denver restaurant. “Old Major Denver” was already a star restaurant that needed to offer something new in both serving and cooking techniques. It was here that new horizons opened up for Alejandr to create and implement all his culinary ideas. For more than 15 years he has been making sure that every day guests of the restaurant can taste the best meat dishes in town.
